Before we get to the business of Week 3 - I will relate an adventure from the weekend - and i'm not referring to the Christmas Party.
I ready my first eBook on the work iPad. Big Deal? Probably not, but an enjoyable first for me. The book itself, a classic - freely available from the iStore under creative commons or project gutenberg, was funny and even now urges me to wax lyrical (who am I kidding?), but the eBook "experience" has its goods and bads.
On the plus side, the back lit iPad helps you read in bad light. Turning the pages is a novelty though I still felt compelled to check I haven't turned too many pages as I go - although the animated effect would likely inform you.
On the other hand the iPad is heavy after a while and not so comfortable to hold onto.
I guess what could win it is immediate and free access to some great books and I guess it's more environmentally friendly than creating a real book.
What is your eBook experience... if you haven't had one yet - maybe it's time to try it out.
However back to the Business at hand... Week 3:
Images online and your "23 Things" self portrait ^.^
The images online thing is not new. It is however useful for sharing pictures with friends and family. I like to think people will have a more complete view of their lives because things don't go missing if this software becomes more widely used.
As for the self portrait just a bit of fun. I look forward to your artistic endeavours if you have the time and the inclination.
Enjoy!
